ST. LOUIS (September 2, 2010) - CSI Leasing, Inc. (CSI) has expanded its operations in Asia by purchasing two leasing companies: Fortis Lease Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. and Fortis Lease Singapore Pte. Ltd. The acquisitions complement CSI’s existing operations in Singapore and will allow for expansion of its leasing services to Malaysia. The companies will now operate as CSI Leasing (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. and CSI Leasing Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. Nine employees will join CSI from Fortis Lease Malaysia, including Caroline Soon, general manager. CSI now has 23 subsidiaries worldwide leasing in more than 36 countries.

“Singapore is becoming an important market for CSI Leasing and we are very excited about introducing our flexible and creative leasing services to Malaysia,” says Tom Brown, senior vice president and regional manager of Asia Pacific. Mr. Brown will soon be relocating to Singapore to manage the two new subsidiaries.

A privately-held company, CSI Leasing has operations throughout North, Central and South America, Europe and Asia.
