Experienced, personalized, local and global.
Founded in 1972 by four young entrepreneurs, CSI began as a computer reseller in Oklahoma. One of those founders was Ken Steinback of St. Louis, Missouri who continued to lead the company for decades. By 1981, the company had switched its business to leasing and moved its headquarters to St. Louis. CSI’s international expansion began in 1995 with the opening of CSI Leasing Canada, and we have steadily grown ever since. We now have 1,500+ employees and more than 70 offices around the world, while providing lease financing in 50 countries.
Our service offerings grew again when we purchased EPC in 1998 to process all end-of-lease equipment. This allowed us to gain complete control of our end-of-lease process. Since then, CSI and EPC have been working hand-in-hand in order to give our customers the best possible lease experience. EPC has also grown internationally and is one of the world’s leading ITAD providers today.
On June 10, 2016, Tokyo Century Corporation (formerly Century Tokyo Leasing) acquired ownership of CSI Leasing from Ken and the other employee shareholders. We continue to operate the same way we always have, providing personal attention, robust services and flexible solutions, with more scope for international opportunities and even greater funding capabilities.
