CSI Names New CIO, Announces Officer Promotions

CSI Leasing, Inc. (CSI), one of the world’s largest independent leasing companies, has recently announced that Brian Wahoff has been named the company’s chief information officer (CIO). Several officer promotions have also been announced.

Brian comes to CSI from its wholly-owned subsidiary, EPC, Inc. (EPC), where he was chief technology officer. As CIO, Brian will oversee all IT operations, including infrastructure, information security, application development and the data warehouse. During his 27-year tenure at EPC, Brian developed and was later lead architect on EPC’s IT asset disposition (ITAD) system, Iinvision, created and maintained EPC’s SecureTrack data handling processes, and designed EPC’s information security program. He regularly speaks at information security and ITAD conferences and is considered a data destruction subject matter expert. Brian is a certified ethical hacker and has trained in forensic information gathering/management.

With his proven track record and long history at EPC, I am confident he will hit the ground running,” said Steve Hamilton, chairman and CEO. “Brian will also be looking for opportunities to consolidate initiatives between CSI and EPC to help both companies provide an even more seamless experience to our customers and business alliances.”

Additionally, the company announced several officer promotions during its annual sales meetings to kick off the new fiscal year.

Rachel Fick, senior vice president, global marketing. Previously vice president, global marketing, Rachel will continue her role developing and implementing CSI’s global marketing strategy, along with leading CSI’s creative team. Prior to CSI, she held various marketing positions at the University of Missouri-St. Louis and Weintraub Advertising. Rachel earned a Bachelor of Science in public relations from the University of Central Missouri and a Master of Arts in communication from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. She is based in St. Louis and has been with CSI for nearly 17 years.

Kirk Kasicki, senior vice president, corporate tax. Previously vice president of corporate tax, Kirk will continue his role managing global income tax accounting and reporting. Kirk specializes in corporate and international tax and is responsible for the calculation and filing of U.S. and Canadian income tax returns. He began his career at CSI in 2001 and moved to Enterprise Rent-A-Car in 2004 before eventually returning to CSI in 2010. He earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Truman State University, a Master of Accounting from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and is a Certified Public Accountant. Kirk is based in St. Louis and has been with CSI nearly 17 years.

Pete Kindig, senior vice president, IT systems. Previously vice president of IT systems, Pete will continue his role supervising CSI’s network, security and PC support groups globally. Additionally, he implements and supports domestic and international networks, servers and end-user devices, as well as supports CSI’s disaster recovery site. Pete is based in St. Louis and has been with CSI for 21 years.

Ed Concannon, vice president, IT systems. Previously assistant vice president of IT systems, Ed will now focus on cyber security initiatives while continuing his role managing CSI’s servers and networking system on a global scale. Prior to CSI, Ed held a variety of IT-related positions in the healthcare sector. He earned a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Ed is based in St. Louis and has been with CSI for 21 years.

Natalie Conway, assistant vice president, global marketing. Previously senior marketing specialist, Natalie will continue her role of driving CSI’s global marketing strategy forward. She specializes in design and branding and is also responsible for international internal communication. Natalie began her career with CSI as a marketing assistant in 2016 and is based in Augusta, Ga. She earned a Bachelor of Science in marketing with an emphasis in integrated marketing communication from Illinois State University.
